What a colorful family-based community celebration! Obviously, this was my first Day of the Dead event. Congratulations! Afterward, I thought it might be a good place for a voter registration table -- but you may already have considered that idea. Also, Kate Metheny of the Greenlawn Abbey (east of the Cemetery) said you could borrow their outdoor sound system -- to share the Huntington Chapel's music with others in the immediate outdoor area (next year), and draw more people inside for the lovely performances and architecture and mingling. 'Looking forward to next year's event!
